In spite of my best intentions to get my last big boy room project posted, the crafty Halloween Witch brought the littles’ tickets to Fall Festival at the PCP’s school and we’ve just now settled down for the night. Needless to say, the jumping, dancing, riding, hot dog and cotton candy eating night was pretty much the cat’s meow as far as the three year old and six year old were concerned.
(The PCP has on his standard unsanctioned, unsupervised kid’s-choice end-of-week outfit [baseball knee socks, tennis shorts and a Falcons or Braves jersey] that is our regular reward for bringing home a week’s worth of good behavior marks. You have no idea how it kills me to send him out the door in these get-ups every Friday morning.)
With that, I’m off to bury my nose in Defending Jacob – such a fascinating read!
